Created by young people, for young people.

Our Method.

Land the Jab introduces a unique boxing and mental health program for schools, drug rehabilitation centre’s, mental health facilities and individuals seeking mental health support.

In a safe and friendly environment, consumers will have the opportunity to explore ideas surrounding Isolation, Resilience, Trusting Relationships and identity.

We deliver this with the use of non-contact boxing training, personalised support programs and proven methods using exercise as a tool for problem solving.

Land The Jab works by utilising 4 core modules from martial arts training, namely boxing, that offer unique insight into managing adversity.

Land the Jab

Land the Jab is all about making a start… And there's no better way to start a boxing match than Landing a Jab!

In this module participants will learn the importance of making a start and establishing rhythm.

Whether it be eating healthy, controlling anger or getting out of the bed in the morning, participants will explore key elements of goal setting and healthy habit building.

Down for the count

Life has knocked you down. Take a breath, put your guard up and roll with the punches.

Adversity comes in many different forms for young people in todays day and age. Land the Jab offers a unique and positive perspective to facing adversity.

Participants will learn to identify how and why certain events conjure certain feelings.

Using strategies such as journaling, exercise meditation and breath-work, participants will gather tools to manage difficult emotions and re-establish positive thought patterns.

Who’s in your corner?

If you had to fight tomorrow, who would you bring to your corner?

Sometimes during a boxing match, it's difficult to distinguish good advice from emotionally charged supporters. This can feel chaotic at the least.

Similarly, young people can often feel over stimulated with peer pressure and advice from the people around them.

Land the Jab works to soften the chaos, and articulate which advice is coming from the right place, and which advice could be harmful.

Don’t sweat the decision

Failing to achieve desired outcomes is a theme that almost everyone faces throughout their journey.

Learning to appreciate the journey, and identify the lessons learnt on the way is paramount in achieving positive thought practices.

This module is all about contentment. Taking your eyes off of the end result and instead evaluating personal growth based on the journey, not the destination.
